I have a million and one ‘to go’ places in my plans, I just pray for strength, long life and money to achieve it. I have not even seen one tenth of my desired places in Lagos let alone other states in Nigeria or even the world at large. It is an endless world we live in, same as our possibilities as human beings for as long as we are alive. I am not agitated about not achieving these things yet, I am currently in the phase of embracing my little progress of seeing a place at a time. Before you know it, your yellow pawpaw has been all round the world! But first let’s check out Lekki Art Market.
Let’s leave my ‘to go’ places as my little secret, allow me to unravel them one after the other as time permits, though I have been tempted several times to share it as a blog post and see how making it public can hasten achieving it.
I asked in the title what you would like me to get for you at Lekki Art Market as if I bought the whole place or I even made it there on first attempt lol. My first attempt at going to the art market in Lekki after reading about it on numerous blogs was on a tired evening I knew better to have stayed at home. My phone went off just when I was going to consult Google map. How sad and confusing that my phone hasn’t been charging all the while I thought it was. I wouldn’t even be able to take pictures so wetin I gain?

That day that the Lord has made finally came without stress, my phone was fully charged, I loved myself to one of my superb playlists enroute Lekki Art Market in the comfy front seat of the taxi.
I beared in mind that arts are not cheap so I did not try to be mischievous by pricing anyhow. I had on the best version of my humour that day but maybe everybody won’t be as cheerful as I can be, it actually earned me the love of the sellers to take as many pictures as I wanted.
Tbh I did not expect that much of a warm reception there because I got just a single piece to fulfill all righteousness and continued taking pictures the entire time. To cut the long story short, I can say that the sellers were nice enough, I took permission at each stall I liked to take pictures though some accepted grudgingly like wetin dey worry this one *eyes rolling*
I just found it beautiful that there is a market dedicated to arts alone. I also loved the part that I could see different sections of the market just so you know how organized the place was, common there’s a correct car park there; what am I even saying! As far as I could tell, there was the wood work section (you would even see them in the process of making it), bead works, basket weaving, leather works and accessories, antique collection and other different beautiful crafts.

I told you I did not bother with pricing, my dear you can find out more yourself when you go there. I am very sure you would get things you love even if you are not so much into arts.
