I told you in one of my previous posts in this blog series that I worked multiple jobs remotely for the most part of 2018. This post is about a period of time in July when I worked 9-5 for 4 weeks.
It wasn’t a phase I could easily forget, it was an intense period of working and learning under heavy pascals of pressure. Sad still I wasn’t getting paid.
For me it wasn’t about how much work I did but rather the quality of the job. Now I take pride in referencing the job. I can also boast of how quickly I yeild to the switch of lifestyle in a minute. I mean from working from home to 9-5.

The beautiful thing about going out to work is the high and hopeful spirit I always wake up with. I see everyday as my big day, I always look forward to an event that would change my life for the best through my works each time I step out. I always say to myself that one day I would go out and return home as a greater version of me.
Music and daydreams help me with this fantasy I thrill myself to every morning. I would plug my ears to my favourite playlist of the moment and swing my head without minding anyone around.
On this day in my Lagos Story, I had my Naija playslist on, seated next to the bus conductor. I could see that the guy was feeling my vibes he asked to share the earpiece with me in one ear. We vibed to different tracks from Ajah to Lekki bus stop where I alighted.
He gave me a thumbs up as I bidded him goodbye. “Olenu;” he smiled. . . . .
