MY LITTLE GETAWAY TO LAGUNA BEACH, LAGOS

My thoughts before going to Laguna Beach:

Lately I found myself craving for a getaway, somewhere either by myself alone or with someone. I wanted out of my confines to pure air. I was feeling choked by Lagos air and the same old routine of going to work and returning home. Let’s say I needed an escape for a little bit. I wanted to be somewhere else.

The thought of Ramadan knocking close by did put me on the edge. I yearned for a time-out to precede my one month of total detox. I almost gave up on my thirst for a new sight till I saw that svelte blogger’s feed, Cassie Daves.

I did a bit more digging about Laguna Beach, turned out she also saw it through another sweet lifestyle blogger.

I thought no more, I simply prepared and off I went. . . .

My outfit was matching the remaining sunlight I had left to take pictures. It was a colourful yellow jumpsuit off #EnchantedTheShoot lookbook with my big hair dun curr.

Laguna Beach is located beside Atican Beach. You can get there from Ajah without sweats. It is FREE on weekdays and N1,000 to get in during weekends.

It is quite a maximised space because it doesn’t meet the size of every other beach spots but I reiterate that they made good use of the space.

It could afford a parking space, toilet, a grill stand and an avergage bar.

Their sitting space gives a magnificent view where they have tents for people in groups and singular beach stretchers. It is an inviting clean blue body of water over there.

I can promise you that Laguna Beach menu will not make you frown. They have cocktails ranging from N2,000 – N3,000, coconut drink is N1,000. Their mixologist is on standby to top you up with different smoothies and fruit cocktails.

If you are the type who enjoys your barbecue fish and fries without noise but fresh air, Laguna Beach is for you. One thing the bloggers who have been there emphasized, was their friendliness with pictures. The attendants there are ready to take you as many pictures as you want.

Frank made know that they started up the place in November and they have been experiencing impressive sales. He urged me to come on a weekend to see how things go down.
