MY LAGOS WEEKENDS: CIDER SIPPING AT THE TRAFFIC BAR, IKOYI

It was a Sunday with no worries about Lagos traffic as the weekends have become the best days for me to explore the city. I was done seeing The Traffic Bar in pictures so I decided to go see by myself.

I am becoming a better friend with google map, locating my destination was eazy breezy. The Traffic Bar turned out to be a compound you would least know what fun thing is going down there till you pop in and so I did. I ticked straight passes for space and aesthetics on stepping one foot down.

Their choice of a non elaborate signage to point you in, coupled with a smooth security intervention to ensure that you are well packed has got to be their magical code for driving customers – before we even talk about the fancy ambiance they intentionally created there. (Choi! I wasn’t paid for this ooo!!! Lol)

The beauty I have seen in too many pictures of The Traffic Bar matched up with reality immediately I walked into the main scenery after taking pictures at the graffiti wall. The details were sinking in as I stepped forward, leaving me with their customer service as the next thing to ponder on.

I can’t forget the welcoming smoke from their busy kitchen and the pair of swing that makes you want to get comfortable already. Fast forward to their nice bar settings and the bartenders, the gentleman who attended to me was patient enough to deliberate with me and choose where I would like to sit. I mean he had all the ears for my drinking abstinence stories to also choose what to drink for me. Lmao!!!

The two things I had the urge to do most at The Traffic bar were to take pictures (as per usual) and experience the place – both of which were fulfilled, then I settled to enjoy my drink. The big pack of the apple juice costed N2,500, can’t remember how much he called their cranberry juice but I think it is about that range too.

They were cool with vlogging maybe because I asked decently and my bartender friend sha wanted me to take small shayo, he said a glass of cocktail doesn’t hurt and made sure I promise to come again.

Traffic Bar is a chilled place, I recommend.

See more pictures of the place, you will understand why it called The Traffic Bar:
