URBAN LIVE EXPERIENCE WITH WANDE COAL, SEAN TIZZLE, DREMO AND VEE

All work and no play made me pledge not to have the usual type of January everyone fusses about as stated in my previous post and that was the course for being OUTSIDE yet another Friday after the day’s grind for Urban Live with Wande Coal, Sean Tizzle, Dremo, Vee and other artistes.

‘Outside’ calendar was still #DecemberInJanuary which I will make sure to extend to February and the remaining months of the year so if you see me outside, holla at your girl. Now get your glass for the juice of how it went down with these stunning performers. This time, I am serving in blackberry flavor.

Urban Live is an unplugged session of purely live music from your favorite artistes.

It is a deserving live experience hosted by Urban 96 FM, Lagos. It resumed this year with these fine acts, DJ Neptune, Jay Breeze, and Tyeng Gang on the m.i.c.

It was my first ever experience as there’d been sessions with the likes of D’Banj, Lojay, Crayon, Dapo Tuburna, Ayanfe, Tomi Thomas, Ozbeazy, and Barry Jhay. This edition held at Bayroot Bar & Lounge, Landmark Towers.

I was dressed to work ready to party later, aint nobody stopping me. All I had to do was freshen up to re-sparkle the glow and I was good to go. It turned out to be a lit blowy ambiance including a mid-swimming pool where you could chill and ”network” before the heat of the event. I was caught up with a bunch of my former colleagues, took pictures, videos and fetched myself a cocktail.

Showtime boomed on us the moment Gang took over the microphone and the burst kicked in right from there. Oyibo Rebel’s energy was unmatched, the sensational White Nigerian singer, actor, skit maker, and gbogbo e.

A lot more of first times occurred that night like me seeing Vee do her music thing and she totally killed it. Dremo’s said it was his first ever live performance too – he gave a perfect rap delivery on an Afrobeats set.

Sean Tizzle had me jumping to his classic hits and King Coal finished the whole assignment with a smashing performance. Big Wiz, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Ycee, Sammy Walsh, Ms. Dsf sprinkled more spice to Urban Live night and we had a blast!
