The act of making my bed bears the same priority as brushing my mouth and taking my bath before leaving the house. I mean it is hard for me to skip making my bed! There is a special way my neatly laid bed receives me from the whole hustle and bustle of the day in my Lagos living.
Having revealed the struggle of my sleeping pattern in the previous POST, you will equally reason along with me why I adore a warm and welcoming bed after the whole stress of the day.
The traffic ahead will not permit me to go on telling you about my neatness obsession; I packed my bag and cleared my desk to call it a day. The taxi driver gave me a forecast of some routes that were not congested yet – I did not mind wherever he passed for as long as Urban fm was treating me to a nice playlist.

The track ’Havana’ by Camila Cabello featuring Young Thug was melodiously humming its way into my exhausted nerves when I looked up to find us at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos Island. We still had some more miles to cover; all I could wish for was a less dense traffic, hopefully we would make it home in one piece.
Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) is one of the major ceremonial grounds in Lagos State, facilities at the square include a bus terminal where people converge to board BRT buses going as far as Ikorodu. You can imagine how many people would be looking forward to return to their neatly laid bed as much as I was.
I finally made it home to my overrated neatly laid bed, it dropped in my mind that some people who left home the same way I did might not make it back home to their beds. . . .Hence I called this episode of my Lagos story series; “The Gift of Home Return.”
