What is your Lagos Story?

For the record, a girl’s bag was snatched few steps away from where I took this picture but the lifestyle and places blogger here sharply smiled for the camera😅, threw her phone in her pant, hurried few steps to jump in the bus. I couldn’t wait any more minute for the taxi😱 scared af!

Then the yeye igbo girl that took the picture went like “so na mouth you get you no get action.” I shook my head lol – “omo aseh eko ni won pebi🙄”

How did I get there? If you know Lagos well, you can tell the exact spot I was in that picture. I went with my omo Igbo friend to the Carnico Festival at Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.

We had quite a swell time and it was time to go home. We simply took a stroll as I ordered our taxi which was few minutes away from where we were. Tbh, the purpose of the stroll was to take some pictures at the graffiti wall of Law School bus stop for the gram.

I was smiling for the camera with both eyes wide open in case of any unusual movement because I knew it was quite risky there.

I declined my friend’s offer to take me more photos and marched straight ahead. Just when I was dialing the taxify driver’s number, we walked up to a girl who was panting heavily as she narrated the ordeal of how her bag was snatched but she was happy she had nothing valuable inside.

On hearing that, I didn’t realize how I jumped into the bus and beckoned my friend to forget about walking down to the taxi abeg!

That was another crazy night in my Lagos Story series. I hope you have been coming with me? I can bet there will be more crazy, funny, harmless nights.
