AWESOME HIGHLIGHT OF MY EID CELEBRATION
This post about my Eid celebration had me reflecting on the night before the Ramadan fasting which caught me outside for the record of the second time. This is making emphasis because I have a stereotype for staying indoor and seeking the face of God which eventually births guilt but it doesn’t last a night.
I went into the fasting with a strong determination to use my mind like I have never done before in commitment and awareness of both the conscious and subconscious. It did not come as easy as written, this period usually makes the most tempted of my life – I would have all the reasons to flip but just one solid factor holds me down.
Family was the highlight of my Eid celebration and I loved every bit of it.
Certain events coupled with health issues came rocking my faith, but I am glad I came out strong as the Eid celebration was approaching. I basked in a victorious feeling of answered prayers and relief. I only had to think about how my Eid celebration would be with the short holiday I got from work.
As crazy as the lone life gets for me with work and the social side that I have been struggling to revive, I always make sure to spend my holiday time with family. In recent times, it’s just been with either my brother, my sister, or my bosom friend’s family.
Having spent the equally short Easter holiday with my sister prior, I spent my Eid celebration with my brother and my bosom friend’s family. It was such a bliss!
Slit too high for a Muslim girl huh?
