NIGERIAN PRODUCERS SMELLING THEIR ROSES – MANSA JABULANI DEBUTS NEW SINGLE, DOREME
The evolution of sounds from Africa is never a stale way to begin with as we have reached a successive point where versatile Nigerian music producers like Mansa Jabulani savour their flowers in full bloom. The past decade revealed only a bare minimum of producers’ efforts on blockbuster songs by merely written credits, till it seemed liked song makers themselves started drifting from their evasive paths to the centre stage where they also deserve to be.
The competitive tides began to rise for every creative individual involved in the making of Nigerian songs, thus rapidly influencing our listenership sail too. By now we know what to tend our ears to in the sonic quality of the music we are being fed. We get to experience how each assignment was delivered on a track, we have also learnt to apportion glory rightfully and it is only getting more adventurous in the music sphere.
All this is to say that Mansa Jabulani as a hit producer of a couple of tracks that rocked the history of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Nigeria has taken a turn he might never look back on in the music industry.

Perhaps the Mansa Jabulani who was known to produce ‘Of LaLa’ by Jamo Pyper and Zatan for Rahman Jaggo, If No Be You by Jamo Pyper featuring Mayorkun, Doings by Chinko Ekun featuring Zlatan, The Matter by Zlatan and a host of other mad jams would have chosen to remain in the producer league. He may as well be seen discreetly reaching for some nooks in his potentials by experimenting yet on other singers’ tracks till 2021 when he decided to put his foot forth.
Do not say Mansa did not warn you of his prowess, even though he did not quite leave clues of what he sounds like but you can tell of a well inclined mind on the music he produces. Surprise would be a welcomed emotion on the release of this debut single of his, Doreme featuring MollyDVybe.
Doreme is the best thing since sliced bread could be served with bacon and cheese. The track sits well with the current trend, promises to stand the test of time and serve the right purpose in the dance society. It is also a perfect track for the audience it was targeted to while reaching other demographics.
