Timaya on ‘In My Head’ reaffirms his sought-after honcho status, a persona depicted with the catchy phrase ‘Papi Chulo’ and a seductive call for Tiwa’s charming vocals to create a wonderful duet. The inestimable creative contribution of Xtreme The Producer, Fiokee, the renowned guitarist and director Pink on the video, cooked up an Afro-pop classic with the proper amount of heat. What is left is already taking place, with Nigerians scooping up the new music as though they’ve been waiting for it all their lives. Timaya promises that this is just the tip of the iceberg in anticipation of his ninth studio album, “Gladiator,” set to drop on May 31st.
