My Detty December rendezvous is a whole tale to be told on its own but let’s get into my first night OUTSIDE in 2022 before I curate contents from the most eventful month in 2021. I swear you will enjoy it.

I have shared how I spent my Christmas Eve and Jesus’ Birthday HERE and THERE. I also gave an insight into how the previous year came to be for me, and by now you should know that I am not the biggest on resolutions for the new year. Just bear in mind as I have stated earlier that, whatever you find me doing after clocking 30 last year is LIVING.

What I might have reiterated intentionally is how unapologetic I will roll going forward, and that’s coming from nowhere other than the experiences I have had.

Having experienced a lot of ill thinking that were not anything near my intentions in the previous year, this is how we move going forward:

Enough of all these serious talks! The juice is about my first night outside, so get a glass. I am serving in chilled pineapple flavour.

I swore I was never going to have that popular, long and broke January everybody prepares to have or fuss about. I choose to make merry and live fine. Funny enough, the month hasn’t even been as long as proclaimed. It’s been going at a fair speed and the first working week for me was really bright.

For reasons of settling in, I wasn’t going to be OUTSIDE on the first working week. Make I chill small before I restrike from my Detty December cos I had quite a memorable one and soon you will be catching the gist on here.

As the last week OUTSIDE calendar was December 52nd, mine should be the 60th. The spirit of Detty December is one to keep around for me if you ask. I was working, answering the call of outside, relaxing and refreshing at the same time.

I know say OUTSIDE dey cost money but who says you can’t have fun with a pocket-friendly amount? Make I no hear say sapa hook you reach like that??

To book for Silent Disco Lagos headset costs just N3,000 and a discount of N2,500 for a group of 5 applied for this one I went for, then cocktail prices from N6500 will not bite you. Better still, order a reasonable bottle of drink with your group or take beer which shouldn’t be more than N2000 per bottle. So, what are you telling me? Tequila tot from the first Silent Disco I went for in December was N3,000.

Silent Disco Lagos sells at different cozy restaurants on the Island and I think there are editions for the Mainland too. This one that made my first night outside in 2022 was at Retrociti, Victoria Island Lagos. You would not believe I was barely motivated the whole day but I just managed to throw on a black outfit after work on Friday as I have booked already and looked forward to it stirring up my low morale.

You already know my hack with black outfits, and the rest of the night was history from there. The party holds from 7 pm – 12 am. The lounge DJ took over right after our headsets were retrieved and we partied wild for another one hour before we finally called it a night.
