The usual pickup point was the FRCN training school on Adekunle Fajuyi road, Ladipo Lagos. Before an eye blink the sleek Uber car would have surfaced. It just takes me to have my playlist jamming from my phone and its a smooth the ride to the island.

It was going to be a house party later that night with them hommies from my uni. Food, drinks and more from the box of fun wasnt going to be any problem.

All we needed (we yes we! Mutiat and i) was to spend the spraying hands of time till evening when we’ld be set for the house P.

A place to chill before dusk climbs the sky, the only thing that came to my mind was “serenity.”

Definately it would be buzzing hot and breathless before moma calls from the house party, so i felt it was best as the driver made the turn for the sandy street.

Welcoming hit of breeze like from every other beach as usual. I was conviced in my seductive thoughts that all beaches are a bed of blue for the skies to make love with. (Why do i always have to go all sensual on the beach?) Permit me to use the word irresistible again like i did HERE.

We made ourselves comfy under the shed and loved our eyes some good view.

For the umpteenth time i pondered about the physics of infinity that lies between the end of the waters and the lips of the sky. Pardon me to repeat again that i saw the ocean kissing the heaven.

We couldnt have been seated there and just looking at the water waves if there wasnt a bar there. We were served some sweaty bottles of drinks from the bamboo bar there as music from my Mr Eazi playlist continued. Every other person from the neighbourhood dropped by with the same motive as ours…. (Yes i could tell)

Come close for a whisper:- places like this and HERE, i dont go there just once! I have gone there another time like Oliver twist.
