INTRODUCING RUQCHAT NAIJA PODCAST – THOUGHTS ON SITUATING TWITTER AFRICA HQ IN GHANA
My brother and his fiancée in London just caught the podcast bug, they called it ‘RUQchat.’
RUQchat must be a clipping of their two names, Rukkie and Qaadir where they talk about matters arising in Nigeria even though they are in London. You know the joke about making Naija a better place from the abroad. 🤣 🤣
RUQchat Naija Podcast talks about diverse happenings in Nigeria, pop culture, politics, technology, entertainment, and “Probable Projection of the End Game.”
Do you remember the caramel handsome young man we went to see Lekki Conservation and Alara Lagos together a few years back? Yes, that’s Qaadir, I call him Q, he calls himself ‘Uncle Lobos.’ He’s one of my savvy siblings, a Tech Guru, a Customer Care Service Expert, and a Business Analyst.

Rukkie is also a Tech girl, a Computer Science Master’s student with a background in software development, Graphics Designer, part-time chef, and all that.
RUQchat is just a glass out of their plenty jars of creative juice. In this podcast they talked about Nigeria’s obvious higher statistics of Twitter usage over that of Ghana, yet the African Headquarters would rather be seated there.
They weighed other reasons why Uncle Jack made the shift to Ghana in spite of his affinity for Naija. We also know that Nigeria vs Ghana dragging just got an added sector from Jollof rice to Tech investments in West Africa and it looks like the Chale gang is winning.

They emphasized Twitter being a pro-democratic platform that gives everybody the freedom of speech especially in the surge of global uproar.
Rukkie and Q on RUQchat also shared some reactions from the savage desk about situating Twitter Africa HQ in Ghana.
