It’s been almost a month since we rounded up the month of Ramadan fasting with the last ‘Iftar’ and as I told you HERE,  it was a period of making the most of my relaxing weekends, studying, soul-filling, skincare rituals, Netflix, and No chills.

I also made known the plans I had before the moon was sighted to eat all I could and down all the cocktails at the bar.

The plan I had for the last Iftar of Ramadan 2021 was to go for dinner after work.

Event turned out that my work team chose that day of all days to hold a long meeting after working hours. I wasn’t having it, my eyes were turning-on-he-own. My morale was beginning to dim as I yawned up to a dozen times during the meeting. lol

I took the exit as soon as it clocked 6:30 pm, I jumped in the next available cab to take me to Continental Restaurant and Cafe on Orchid Road, Lekki for my last Iftar.

I have had their meals there a couple of times, just that I have not taken my time to write a review but I strongly recommend. It’s a lovely space just by the roadside in UBA Shopping complex opposite East Gate Hotel.

You can’t miss any of these easy descriptions and their service is very nice but this time I missed out on my craving. I was so pained!

Apparently, I got there too late for my desired Special Fried Rice which seems to be in high demand. By the time I got there, I was left with the option of Native Rice.

It wasn’t a bad choice after all, and it kind of brings to mind how Native Rice also tends to stand a chance.

I said a prayer and devoured my last Iftar meal for Ramadan 2021 to the crumbles. I thank God for making me finish the fasting stronger than I started. It felt so fulfilling.
