I asked in one of my instagram posts if anybody else was confused about the solar system situation these days? The climate change to the intense sunny one made me think twice before going to China Town.

China Town was one of the places in my ‘to go’ list and Providence said it was time to go there. Do you still want to hear how i got there under the scorching sun?

Truth be told, it was somehow desolate there but i want to believe that was what even drew me closer.  For twenty unreal seconds, i was expecting a Chinese kid, kitted in a Shaolin attire to welcome me.

The first few steps i launched into China Town felt like an Alice in the wonder land journey. I mean it took me few seconds to assimilate where i was.

As the current Nigerian sun slapped me to life, i returned to real world in no time.  I remembered that I was in Lagos!

China Town was one of the major commercial centres in Lagos. It is situated on Ketu-Oworonshoki express way. Report sadly has it that there used to be so much live in there but most of the traders have vacated the place. No wonder it is desolate.

One of my fantasy wishes came through when a Chinese man photo bombed me.

There was no interest in the sparse commercial side because i did not even plan to window shop. Lets say i just wanted to cling to my Chinese fantasy in China Town.

The architectural structure and decor of the place is fantastic for photo and video shoots.

Going to China in Nigeria (in my mind) wasn’t outrightly strange. From my dangling box of fantasies, i wish to work with any photographer for a shoot there.
